A Revolutionary Way to Teach Reading to Kids

Reading and writing are basic skills taught in every American school. We use these skills in everyday life and we rely on them all the time. But learning how to read and write is hard. These skills require hard work so the real question becomes: how to teach reading and writing? Obviously the teacher/parent would want to teach their students/children in the best way possible and there are so many to choose from!

A good learning reading and writing program should include learning multiple skills required for reading and writing such as phonics and comprehension as well as grammar and being able to read aloud. A good reading and writing program should also have repetition to help learn as well as some sort of systematic approach, and still be able to be engaging enough that the children are enjoying learning, if it isn’t the children will have no love of reading or writing as they grow up.

There may be other writing programs like this out there, but what good is a writing and reading program if it doesn’t meet the Common Core Standards?

Good thing the Ziff Technique fits all of these criteria.

The Ziff Technique is the best technique for teaching reading and writing. The Ziff Technique uses basic writing skills to further the child’s reading skills. This technique employs story writing for early readers to enhance the children’s vocabulary and skills of language. Writing the stories also helps expand the child’s imagination.

Recent studies show that children work better in a differentiated education classroom. The Ziff Technique is based around the students’ interests which propels the learning process as they can now make more detailed stories to improve their reading and writing skills.
